Heather Howe

Heather Howe, an artist who grew up on the Lizard Peninsula near Cadgwith, has carved a niche for herself in the world of fine art with her profound emotional connection to the landscape and the ever-changing weather. After completing her education with a Foundation year and a B.A in Fine Art at Falmouth School of Art and Exeter University, Heather embarked on a career that saw her first solo show at the Century Galleries in Henley-on-Thames at the tender age of 22.

Her career has been diverse, encompassing commercial design work, private commissions, and exhibitions both in the UK and internationally. This diversity reflects not only her adaptability but also the broad appeal of her work. Heather’s art is deeply rooted in her affinity for the natural world, striving to encapsulate the essence of her surroundings and the emotional responses they evoke. This connection to her subject matter has resonated with many, making her work highly sought after by collectors.

Heather Howe’s limited edition Giclee prints, supplied framed, continue to captivate audiences with their vivid portrayal of the British landscape’s beauty and the transient, often dramatic shifts in weather. Her ability to communicate this deep engagement with her environment through her art has established her as a beloved figure among art collectors and enthusiasts alike.
